Several months ago Microsoft leaked some videos about one of their beta products called the Courier. This product was meant to be a tablet PC/iPAD killer. Later Microsoft pulled it and decided not to produce the item. The entry of the iPAD and its initial success may have well been the reason for this decision.
As part of a class I teach I challenged some students to develop a brand new marketing plan for the late Microsoft courier and here is the result. A complete rebranding effort including a name change, a new target (right one this time) market and a video to boot. The genius behind this video is Maurice Mongeon Check it out for yourself.

I have no idea who this is or why this video was on youtube but one cannot argue with its awesomeness.

Who is Digbert?

On February 5, 2010, in Internet Marketing, Raj Murthy, by Raj Murthy

Here it is! The very new and improved wordpress blog that will now replace my aging roll-your-own website. Come in and make yourself comfortable. If you are curious as to why my blog is called Digbert’s world, here is the short version of the story. Many moons ago I began my career as an engineer, much like Scott Adams’s Dilbert character. As the years passed I moved to business consulting before finally settling into my current profession. If you are a fan of the comic strip you know Dogbert as the savvy business consultant. A combination of the former and latter = Digbert.
